Film Identity & Tour Campaign

For Papsura: Peak of Evil, a Patagonia Films documentary following Patagonia Snow Ambassador Nick Russell's journey to ride one of the most formidable lines in the Indian Himalaya, I developed the film identity and visual assets for the global film tour. Partnering closely with Nick, filmmaker Morgan Shields, and photographer Blake Gordon, I created a visual system that honored both Nick's story and the legacy of Hilaree Nelson.

The identity was built around a custom typographic system inspired by rhythm, connection, circularity, and the flowing contours of a snowboard cutting through snow. Layered mountain forms and hand drawn line work reinforce the film's exploration of spirituality, risk, and the duality between good and evil that defines Papsura itself.

Inspired by Nick's reflection that, "There has to be an element where you're tapping into what the mountain is giving or telling you,” the visual language takes a meditative approach, using typography and layered landscapes to capture the depth, reverence, and emotional weight of the journey.
